From Crisis to Confidence: Simplifying Payments for Bulb Energy’s Customers
During the energy crisis, Bulb was experiencing a wave of cancelled payments, rising customer mistrust, and an overburdened service team. They set out to introduce more flexible payment options for their 1.8 million customers, across their apps and website. I designed a solution that was clean, engaging, and user-friendly, featuring subtle interactions that encouraged customers to explore and compare payment options.
This “show don’t tell” approach simplified complex payment choices and ensured vulnerable customers had easy access to financial support. The result was an empowering experience that enabled customers to manage their payments with confidence, while staying true to Bulb’s distinctive tone of voice and brand identity.
